I am an ex-radio personality/DJ of the late KRME 1460 Hondo, Texas and supported Tejano Artist like Henry Balderama Y La Patria and Gilbert Rodriguez and his Blue Notes. On 13 March 2010 Henry Balderama Y La Patria performed at the La Villita's Luminarios Festival in San Antonio Tx, and at 71 y.o. he can still perform to make the audience cheer. His son Rick and the rest of the Artistic Family Members are keeping the Pioneer Tejano Brass Sound Alive. La Patria de Henry Balderama is still one of the best Tejano Music Pioneers who are still performing in 2010. We need more of the Tejano Brass Sound to return to its roots for the 2010 Tejano Generation to witness. Long Live Henry Balderama, Red and Rick Balderama Y La Patria.
